With Flash you can have an enhanced site, with greater animation and interactivity - we're talking great looking, fully animated graphics, games, presentations, you name it!
If your not sure what difference Flash content makes to your site then below is a quick demonstration:
Most
online text/pictures are "static", meaning they are one picture
that does not animate.
| Flash can animate text, pictures, photos, etc. and keep them small enough so it loads quickly on any system, no matter what their connection speed. |
Of the two text files above believe it or not, but the two above examples the animated Flash example is the "smallest" - so it downloads and appears quicker on the user's computer.
Is there a downside?
To display Flash the
user has to have the Flash player downloaded on their system.
Upside?
Over 97% of internet
users have Flash enabled systems, and if not a link to download
the player is added
at the front of every site to help those that do not have Flash
enabled.
