Living out of the city of Fort Smith limits means that we have a little more room than if we lived closer to the city center, by a little more room I mean about 1 1/2 acres of yard. Now that's a lot of space to mow especially when it rains and the grass grows quick - and when it rains over here it rains BIG TIME!!!

Having all that space also means that we don't have to walk the dogs, they live outside and love it! We have 2 dogs (Sugar and Chelsea), 2 cats (Evil and Spooky) and 8 rabbits - we used to have only 2 rabbits, but apparently one wasn't the same sex and let me tell you the old addage "To breed like rabbits" is true. To our great surprise one Sunday afternoon we found a load of "fluff" in the bunny's cage, then it moved and next thing we knew we had 10 baby bunnies! Well we got the male bunny fixed, but when you get bunnies fixed it doesn't work straight away and four weeks later we had another 8 baby bunnies!!!!! Talk about shock!!!! The mummy bunny had some kinda infection so only 3 from the 1st batch survived, otherwise we'd have had way too many! Anyhow after a few got out and either became snacks for the local wildlife (i.e. snakes, eagles & buzzards, etc.), ran off to create their own hippy bunny commune, or eat car/truck tire we only had 8 - oh yeah we gave 1 away I think - it's hard to keep up with so many! I built an add on to the bunny cage and so they have a little more room now, and they need it!
